about

they will never erase us from the cloud started life in 2020 as a large collection of songs, none of which survived entirely in that state.
But the compositions created under this working title went on to become the foundation for alot of the tracks here < ^ ^.
Ruthlessly resampled, pulled apart, stretched and Mashed into pre existing work or adapted to become the synaptic data for a synthetic brain, which then dreamed about another piece of music..

But really 'they will ever erase us' isn't about process, it's about the indelible nature of queer culture / counter culture across the internet.
Its a poorly produced EDM Opera about the dream of the queer Utopic vision, existing as gospel in the intangible realms of the net as a whole.
We exist and they can can never erase us from the cloud innit :3

Side note: okay its not completely about process but there's a whole aspect to this record which is why it was nearly called 'Objects of power' cos loads of sources and samples are made from real objects like dirty sinks in men's rooms and my water bottle or just live recordings of me singing and banging on shit in my dark flat in north Manchester so enjoi that aspect of dirty physicality as well LoL

AGAIN i did try and send this album to people and get some feedback or advice on who could produce for me bt without response and after two years i just want it move the fuck on <3

making this one pay what you feel mostly cos it feels weird to ask for money for a record which is about solidarity and faith.
But also its free as a thanks to anyone who paid for the Francine album yous had me wilding with that T^T <3
